Keep it simple!  You're going to want to keep your clothing simple. Neutral mid-tones work best. Keep in mind that black can be too harsh for some people. Avoid busy patterns that can distract from your face. Most importantly be comfortable and wear a shirt/blouse that makes you feel good!

PRO-Tip: Since the headshot will primarily focus on the face and upper body, try to pick something that falls well on your shoulders and flatters your neckline. Asking a savvy yet honest friend is always a good idea.

Pay Attention to Detail: Nothing is worse than looking great and confident in a headshot only to see that your shirt is wrinkled. Wrinkled is never a good look. This will allow you to try on your outfit and see if you fill comfortable in your chosen outfit.

PRO-Tip: When trying on your outfit, be on the lookout for any tightness or unwanted bulges and missed stains or dirt spots. Remember, you want to feel comfortable & confident the day of your shoot.
